I believe you can use door dash or a similar service. The restaurant themselves doesn't deliver.
They serve Jasmine rice I believe.
Place came highly recommended, its off the beaten path (Read I-95) and is in a cozy corner of wilmington. I Went there on a Friday about 45 min before closing time. Place had two to three customer parties and most of it was empty. ENough parking space in the front. Ordered the Padthai and another dish for my wife. The food was authentic thai - I liked the dish ordered for my wife but my own dish though a bit sweet . the only gripe was that the dish seemed to have been cooked in a pan that must have been used for soemthing else, because it had a smell to it that wasnt great. that said, the prices were reasonable. there are no kids meals but the food is enough that one dish can easily be shared by two kids.
A good family owned restaurant..taste is excellent though the service is slow because the owner is a one man army. Mother is a cook ( cooks yummy food) and the daughter runs the restaurant.. over all great food
This is the perfect spot for thai. I dine here at least once a week. The food is never a disappointment. This a family run restaurant so with that comes enjoying the delightful grandson of the chef/owner. I have tried the fried rice, soup, and pompano fish just to name a few favorites all are delicious.
The chicken coconut soup was amazing and so was the Tofu Pad Thai. Losing one star for the food coming out slowly but besides that the experience was awesome and the waitress was really sweet. Would highly recommend this place!
Best Thia food in Town...
Good food at good price. People are warm and friendly. The citrus plant as a center piece not only adds to the ambience but also to the flavors of the dishes which use the fresh leaves. The only room for improvement is that the interiors could use an upgrade.
I have been living in Thailand for the past six years. When I come home to Dover, DE I always look for an authentic place to eat Thai food. Soooooo glad I discovered this place. I have actually been to the province that the owner and her mother are from. It was very nice to carry on a conversation with them in Thai language. This place is definitely authentic. Let’s get to the food, these ladies definitely did not forget how to cook their native Thai dishes. Everything was seasoned perfectly! When I asked the owner to turn up the heat, like I like, although I would have liked it to be spicier, it was to my satisfaction. I will be back! Kob Khun Krab!
I went to two different thai resturarest to see which would be the best in Thai within Wilmington, DE. I went to Ubon at the Riverfront and Bangkok House off of Union St. Both locations we're okay. My boyfriend ordered the pad Thai and we both agreed that we could have made better pad Thai if we had the ingredients in our kitchen. I order the crispy duck with red curry and I honestly don't think I got ebenou food for the price I payed ($19.00). Otherwise the dishes was delicious. I still have not found the best Thai restaurant in Wilmington. My favorite Thai restaurant is Tasti Thai in New Castle they don't skimp on portion sizes and have an overall different style compared to Bangkok and Ubon.
My food was good.. Only gripe I have is the service is soooooo slow! The server was nice and my food was hot 😊 I didn't give 5 stars because they need to air out the restaurant and clean the carpets.. I would go back but I would do take out instead ..
The food was great, but I sat for about 10 minutes before even getting water and there were stink bugs all around and on my table.
Our favorite place for those nights when we cannot decide what to cook (or dont want to cook). Authentic dishes made to order. We have dined there and called in for take out. Food is great either way. Everything we have had has been great, but we seem to gravitate to one dish in particular fried rice with thai basil, green beans and a choice of shrimp, chicken or beef. One warning, if the menu says spicy, it means what it says. We love spicy food, the first time there we ordered things "extra spicy" we should have known from the raised eyebrow of the waitress that extra spicy was not needed.. so, if you dont like spicy food either choose one of the many dishes that are mild or ask them to tone down the spice.. they are very accommodating. One of the best things? The portions are LARGE and the food is GREAT the next day.
Best Thai food in Delaware
Ambience & food ok but it smelled stinky at times. Water tasted bad
Super- tasty thai food at a decent price. Location was also good and very friendly staff. I had never received such services in my entire life, definitely a place to be revisit! Wanna come back soon.
The food is good and the hostess is very friendly...i will definitely be back
Best Thai food!
Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! I've only been living in Delaware for about 5 months. I had a taste for Thai tonight, went online and Bangkok was the 1st thing that popped up. After reading the outstanding reviews, I figured EVERYONE couldn't be telling the same lie! (lol) The Shrimp Pad Thai is OFFICIAL! I picked up take-out and I had a lovely conversation with the beautiful young lady who rang me out. The meal was absolutely exceptional! I'm definitely taking my husband back so we can dine in. There's nothing better than having a craving.......And finding a spot that totally satisfies it! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Love this place..atmosphere is really comfortable and people are like family..not to mention food is really authentic
Fabulous food. It is one of the best Thai restaurants that I have ever eaten in. That includes, New York City, Washington DC, California, etc. Unbelievably, the restaurant was practically empty.. The neighborhood is older but only 9 minutes from downtown Wilmington where we went to the Opera House. This is a jewel and prices are reasonable for this quality food.
Best Thai in the area. Excellent curry and Pad Thai. Also try the Tom Yum Gai soup. Best to order take out on weekend because dishes are cooked to order.
I enjoyed my food the whole vibe..I sat down and ate my meal..spicy shrimp soup shrimp fried rice and shrimp dumplings very good & traditional
Best Thai food around! Highly recommend
Great Thai food. Slow service.
Good service . Great food ! Will definitely be going back soon .
My go to place for AUTHENTIC Thai, however this visit was disappointing...the shrimp were bad. I was sick the next day.
Food was delicious with the perfect amount of spice. Good size portion for the money. Service was slow, didnt bring any napkins to the table or really seem to want to do anything beside chat it up with a customer maybe friend at the bar. Otherwise a nice spot.
Food was ok..there was some construction happening when we went.. serving was nice.
Ordered take-away for a diverse group for lunch. Several different dishes ordered... rice dish, noodle dish, soup, etc.. Everyone enjoyed the food, good flavor, and both ordering and the staff were friendly. Will definitely head here again!
My first time was excellent I will go back again and recommend my friends
This place is a family opened awesome place. Consistently fantastic. A secret I share with lots of people. Please click 'like' if you like my reviews...
Excellent food and friendly service!
Went into this establishment and the tables were dirty with food actually stuck on the table I sat at. The waitress wiped the table with a DIRTY WHITE TOWEL.
Hidden gem on the way from NY to DC. We stopped by because of a convenient and short detour. The place was empty but quickly filled up. The crowd was local and easygoing. Food was fantastic. And service friendly. What else can you ask for?
Good food
Delicious food in family atmospher. I'll be a regular from now on
Great food. Good service.
A quiet, no frills restaurant with good food and service.
A must try Thai restaurant! Found this gem last week.  The Pad Thai and Fried Rice was delicious!
The pad thai is always good and my husband has finally found some spicy dishes. Dining in is cozy and take-out is available. The restaurant may be easy to miss so keep your eyes open for the green and white sign.
Great place my first wont be my last. I enjoyed my meal vary much. Only thing I was displeased with is when I sat to eat. I didnt have a fork. So, I was forced to eat off two knifes.
Excellent Thai.
Ive never had a bad meal. Spiced the way I ask and willing to accommodate changes to a dish. Nice, affordable, family run business. Food is great, cook is wonderful and the hostess and bartender are the best you can ask for! Ill be back a few more times Im sure!
The food was delicious. The interior is a little outdated but don't let that bother you.
Good food
Great menu and service. It's frequented by regulars and the local neighborhood and while a bit difficult to locate, it can quickly become someone's favorite. Parking can be a hassle and it's located on a one-way street to make it even more difficult. But dont give up, I'm sure you'll enjoy the meal.
Great and comfort thai food. I enjoyed it. Lunch menu can be a little more enticing. Only one condiment option which is salad. Can include some appetizers OR option. And salad have only lettuce, could add more veggies.
I agree with Harris in the prior review. This is one of the best Thai kitchens I’ve had the good fortune to enjoy. It’s a mother daughter team in the kitchen and they are excellent. I feel the menu is difficult to understand because it only lists one or two ingredients of a dish when there are usually multiple ingredients. I got to a place where I just gave one word like ginger, basil, or cashew and boom - beautiful, colorful fresh with a health side of rice and plenty of “gravy†to mush it into! Downside street parking is wholly inadequate and dining room dated. This kitchen is a 4.5. I have been there two and three times in a week. Highly recommended.
This where I go when besides good food, I need to spice in my soul.. real hot spice
Nice, tasty, affordable down-to-Earth family run Thai eatery. But, had to ask for several usually provided things. Water, napkins, etc. Background music was very short-looped and redundant. Annoying after a few moments.
Hidden gem. The food was very good. So good I was surprised the place was so empty. The service was also fantastic. You can tell it's a family owned place. Definitely recommended.
